Disadvantages of Science

Note: Actually this was the title of a debate which was held in The Mustafai Science Model School, Dhok Nawan Lok under the supervision of Scientific Society. In this debate bot the aspects of science were discussed; negative and positive.

Following are given the arguments which was put forth by the team who were against the science.

• Creation of atom bomb has set this world in an imaginable awe and fear which can fix this world with in the blink of an eye.
• The factories where atomic chemicals are produced extract such kind of liquids as are harmful for aquatic creatures. At the end we shall be deprived of this beautiful creature which has made this world ever attractive and alluring.
• Science is blessing but its excessive use has made our lives ever lazier and more idle.
• Excessive use of tabs, mobiles, pc's and laptops has caused severe upper back pain, waste of eye-sight and other problems which are related to the muscles.
• Setting ourselves in the use of new inventions our hearts and souls have become dead as there is no feeling of sympathy, love and affection.
• Sitting on the same place without any effort causes enhancement of cholesterol which may lead to severe heart-related diseases.
• We solely rely on google search engine. We have totally depended upon the search engines rather than using our own memory and effort to remember the things which crucial to our existence.
• The vegetables which are grown through the use of fertilizations carry harmful chemicals which can lead to severe symptoms of various fatal diseases.
• The process of refrigeration is making an immense harm to the ozone layer. Ozone layer is responsible for stopping the harmful sun-rays from approaching the world. These harmful lays can make pervasive damage to human skin.
• The inhabitants of Hiroshima and Nagasaki are still found carrying the physical disabilities which were caused by the heavy bombardment by allied enemies.
• The process of making an atom bomb is extremely lethal process if any deficiency situates then this deficiency can bring havoc for the neighboring regions and countries.

In fact science itself is not responsible for all these destructions. It is human thought which makes science as lethal and destructive as it is now. Human beings need to flourish their faculties to meaningful destinations. Students should be trained in making scientific inventions less harmful. Countries which are stretching their boundaries by the don't of dangerous atomic weapons should be isolated in every field of life. Then science can be utilized with its full power.
